My Story

a little bit lost. a little bit found. everyday.

I’ve been known to other guises before, but as my kids gain their own sense of worth and independence, it’s back to me time. I started out this year wondering where my meanderings would take me. So here I am. Refocusing on the things that bring me joy. That make me feel hopeful. It can be a bit lonely sometimes as a mum. Your world is your kids. So I need my own space. Perhaps there’s a journey here for me to follow. We will see. But for now I’m back to the basics of writing and drawing, and my blank canvas of garden space is finally ready.

Wife to Garth, and mum to Seth, Luke, Thomas and Joy. Thankful for the space of grace we couldn't live without and in which we learn daily.

I love scripture, its beauty, its wisdom, it's revival of soul when you crash into those days that overwhelm.

Jeremiah 29 v11-13 - for I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Proverbs 3 v5&6 -

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Psalm 37 v4 -Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
